Marketing Manager
The Autism Society of America, the nation's largest and oldest grassroots organization committed to improving the lives of all affected by autism, is seeking applicants for its Marketing Manager position at our national headquarters. Through the coordinated efforts of our national headquarters and over 100 local affiliates, the Autism Society actively works to significantly improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of families and individuals affected by autism. This position is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role on the Development team of an established non-profit organization. As an important member of the team, the Marketing Manager will significantly contribute to firmly establishing the Autism Society of America as the leading organization supporting, valuing, and respecting those impacted by autism today.
This is a full time position working out of the organization's Bethesda, MD headquarters. Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop strategy and execute Fundraising/Development campaigns
2. Drive greater engagement on social media
3. Respond to media inquiries and increase our media outreach efforts
4. Deliver on-time/relevant messaging for our Development and Marketing efforts
5. Act as the organizational point of contact/liaison to our marketing agency
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years progressive experience in a similar position with demonstrated media, communications, and marketing experience.
