Welcome to the Autism Society of Greater Austin

Our Mission is to promote and advocate for the general welfare of persons with autism by:
Advocating for the education and training of parents and professionals involved in the educating and caring for persons with autism;
Helping develop a better understanding of the challenges of persons with autism and their families throughout the Central Texas area by serving as a clearinghouse for the gathering and disseminating of information regarding autism; and
Sharing information with families to enable them to better understand autism by providing them with pertinent and current information through monthly meetings, workshops, and a chapter newsletter so parents may be better advocates for their children with autism.
