Advocacy Alert: Pack the Room! Join the Autism Society and other advocates from across the country help limit the dangerous use of restraint and seclusion in schools!

DETAILS: On Wednesday, February 12, Senator Tom Harkin, Chairman of the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP), will host an event to discuss the findings of a Committee investigation into the obstacles faced by parents whose children were secluded or restrained in public schools and discuss the introduction of Keeping All Students Safe Act, which aims to ensure effective implementation of positive behavioral interventions in our nation’s schools.

WHEN: We need all who can to attend this event on February 12th, and make SURE to RSVP today!!

WHERE: Capitol Visitor Center First Street SE and East Capitol Street NE Room SVC 208-209

Please allow extra time to clear Visitor Center security, then proceed to the Senate Appointments Desk to be admitted to the event.  Space for this event is limited and RSVP is required to enter the Capitol Visitors Center.
