ASA--Santa Barbara and Ventura County Autism Society Host Workshop for Advocates

To be held January 22 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Autism Society of America—Santa Barbara and the Ventura County Autism Society will present “Understanding Psycho-Educational Assessments: A Workshop for Advocates and Attorneys,” featuring Dr. Ann Simun and Dr. Abbe Barron of Neuropsychology Partners, Inc., on Thursday, January 22, 2009, from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The workshop will be especially helpful for special education attorneys, parent advocates and consultants, parent mentors, NPA parent advisors and others who support families of children with special needs. Parents are welcome; however, they should note that this program is aimed at experienced advocates.
