You may look at these and just see a child's "finger paintings." Let me explain why this is so special ... Siobhan cannot stand to touch anything wet, squishy or slimy. Things like yogurt or pudding are repulsive to her. The only exception to this is paint. This started out as therapy to get her used to touching different textures ... and it quickly blossomed into something extraordinary. Siobhan asks for or indicates what color she wants, I plop it on the canvas, and she just starts blending and swirling. She uses brushes, hands and fingers.
