Ring of Fire, Trunks from Dragon Ball Z

Here is another piece of artwork (photography) that my 15 year old daughter, Jessica, who has Autism created. On a trip from Portland, Oregon, Jessica decided that she wanted to photograph the area in the way that she saw it because "it's different than how you see it, mom!" She was absolutely right!

Somehow, Jessica was able to get a brilliant shot of the "volcanic ring of fire" - that starts with Mt. St. Helen's in the picture's foreground and other volcanoes are in the background, curved and off in the distance. Others in our party (including myself!) had never even noticed the other volcanoes while we were in the air.

Jessica's work of art proves how special and unique the autistic mind truly is! These wonderful persons see the beauty in things that many others miss.
