The Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) is offering parents, teachers, therapists and end-users of assistive technology to join them at the ATIA Chicago 2009 Conference with free entrance during specific hours:
Thursday, October 29, 2009 9:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. 2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 9:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. 2:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 9:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Saturday Special: Halloween activities from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., co-hosted by ATIA, Easter Seals and the AbleGames team from Assistive Technology Partners, University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. Includes trick-or-treating fun, best costume contest and adapted “off- the-shelf” gaming systems with access through a single switch, including Wii consoles, PC games and several arcade machines. The conference will take place at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Dr., Schaumburg, Illinois 60173.
