TV Teacher Donates DVDs to Families at Chapter Seminar

Tool aims to teach children how to write

The TV Teacher, LLC™, in conjunction with the Autism Society Greater Georgia Chapter surprised many parents this fall at the chapter’s “Autism 101” seminar by donating hundreds of dollars worth of the award-winning handwriting program, Alphabet Beats™.

The Alphabet Beats™ DVD program was created by Susan Ellis, a mother of a child with autism, and her son’s occupational therapist, Marnie Danielson. Using video-modeling and a catchy rhythmic chant that children can remember, the tool aims to teach students struggling with learning how to write. Additional props and skits aim to keep them engaged.
