To be held November 6-7 in Norman, Okla.

Donna Ferullo, Autism Society Director of Research Programs, will be speaking on autism and the environment at the first Oklahoma Statewide Autism Conference, November 6-7 at the Embassy Suites Norman Hotel and Conference Center in Norman, Okla. Ms. Ferullo will be explaining some recent work in scientific research and government policy intended to protect the developing brain and body from neurotoxins, as well as strategies for the home and local environment that may reduce severity of symptoms in autism and other chronic conditions.

The conference is offered for families, educators, clinicians, service providers of all type, and the whole autism community, and organizers plan to convene it on an annual basis. It is the first of a planned annual conference.
