Tips of the Day - Sleep/Relaxation
- Use a bed rail or place pillows on the floor alongside the bed in case your child falls out of bed.
- Relax an upset child by firmly stroking his legs and feet.
- Watching a ceiling fan can be relaxing for some children.
- Do not let your child nap for long periods during the day as it may interfere with nighttime sleep.
- Do not put your child to bed until she is sleepy.
- Do not let your child sleep anywhere but in his bedroom, preferably in his bed.
