“Ticket to Ride” launched 7 years ago in Jacksonville Florida.
The “Ticket to Ride” community rallies together annually to support and raise awareness for autism. Adamec Harley-Davidson introduced the police-escorted motorcycle ride in 2002. The event would not be the success it is today without the sponsorship of Mark and Chris Adamec, owners of Adamec Harley-Davidson; radio personalities Lex Staley and Terry Jaymes of the Lex & Terry show;
Missy Lybrand, Manager with Adamec Harley-Davidson; and Janice Kirschwing of Venus clothing.
In seven years, Ticket to Ride has raised more than $350,000 for ASA’s efforts.
Ticket to Ride will be in 4 cities for 2009.
